That's what this show is for.

Every week, Craig and Kevin talk through the real stuff of owning a home: maintenance, repairs, hiring, buying and improving, explained the way you'd want a knowledgeable neighbor to explain it: straight, practical, and with a healthy sense of humor. No scare tactics. No sales pitch. Nobody here needs you to buy anything. We just want you to be the best homeowner on the block.

Craig Williams

Craig has spent decades in the Texas pest control business and owns Excalibur Pest Control in Spring, where he and his family have served Houston-area homeowners for years. That means he's been inside thousands of homes, in the attics, crawlspaces, and walls where problems actually start, and he's seen exactly what happens when small issues get ignored. Add a background in audio and years spent teaching and serving people, and you get a host who knows what he's talking about and knows how to explain it without talking down to you.

When he's not in someone's attic, you'll find him outdoors, usually on horseback or at the shooting range.

Kevin Hackett

Kevin has spent years working around homes and alongside the contractors who build, fix, and maintain them, helping home-service pros sharpen how they run their businesses, and seeing firsthand what separates the great ones from the ones you should never let in your driveway. With a background in ministry, he's spent his life helping people navigate big decisions, and on the show he brings the homeowner's side of every conversation: what to ask, what things should cost, and how to hire with confidence. He's also a husband and dad protecting the same investment you are.

Off the mic, he's on the golf course, outdoors, or watching his Texas Rangers and Texas Tech Red Raiders, win or lose.
